On the morning of May 4th 2009 Thijs Heslenfeld - camping all alone in the remote Simpson Desert - shot this image of two beetles making love; the image that made it to the backcover of the book and a lot of magazine features. Thijs loved the place so much he decided to take with him some of the beautiful red sand - so typical for Australia's red centre. And every single copy of the limited edition comes with a little bit of this sand!
Every copy of the limited edition also comes stamped, numbered and signed - and with a dedication to your liking. The limited edition is not available in any bookshops and can only be ordered straight from the publisher. Each copy is prepared on order and the number of copies produced is defined by the limited supply of Simpson sand.
